The city of Newark, CA has commissioned Gordon to create an iconic gateway installation as part of the revitalization of its Old Town core as a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood. The gateway artwork, along with artist-enhanced tree grates and crosswalks, will support the project’s aesthetic design, serving as a distinct visual identity for Old Town, and celebrating the history, spirit and future of Newark.
