On September 17th, 2019, Gordon will present on “Patient-Centered Environments: The Lasting Effect of Art in Facilities” at the 2019 National Organization for Arts in Health conference in Boston, MA.
This lecture will leverage quantitative data to showcase the lasting positive effects of integrating art into healthcare facilities. Currently there is a need to shift our healthcare infrastructure to support more patient-centered care. Gordon’s discussion provides an irrefutable case for how art in healthcare environments provides a solution to this need and enhances the healthcare system through analysis of data collected from various case studies.
Pre-conference workshops and facility tours are scheduled for September 16th, with the conference taking place from the 17th through noon on the 19th at the Hynes Convention Center. Learn more about the conference and agenda here: https://thenoah.net/2019-conference/
