Huether’s approach to this commission began with the Urbach’s desire to express their deep connection to Napa’s viticulture. Working closely with the clients, the artist created an art installation for the home’s prominent stairwell.

Visible from both the interior and exterior of the home, the artwork pulls focus to the architecturally significant stairwell and responds to the home’s warm, natural interior design. Huether also worked closely with the project architect to ensure a fully integrated and successful collaboration of art and architecture.
