Vessel, the Main Courtyard sculpture is a fourteen-foot-tall vortex of 336 concentric glass circles weighing over four tons. The overall shape of the sculpture is consistent with the landscape and architecture of the building and represents that of a ceremonial vessel – a metaphorical collector of water.
The entire courtyard installation can be viewed from all angles – approaching from the parking lot, from inside the courtyard and from multiple views from the interior of the building.
