Circular shapes have long been a compositional element of Huether’s work. For the artist it is not only a geometrical form but also a shape laden with symbolism.
As a seemingly perfect form with no beginning or end, it signifies a myriad of things: The course of life being one of them. With repurposed materials and the impulse to create a ‘perfectly rounded’ composition Huether visualizes an age-old question of humanity.
