With these six vibrantly hued color spheres the artist created smaller scale sculptural pieces with a playful twist. Made up of barrel rings and mouth blown, etched glass spheres these contemporary pieces are intended to illicit a sense of whimsical light-heartedness.
Circular shapes have long been a compositional element of Huether’s work. For the artist it is not only a geometrical form but also a shape laden with symbolism.
